The Story of Ná Clan Cáilte
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
Ná Clan Cáilte (The Lost Family) was formed by two Tauren friends- Tarbhdonn Lighthoof, a hunter by trade, and Bullan Wildmane, a druid. Both Tarbhdonn and Bullan were born and raised as calves in Bloodhoof Village.
When he was young and away at Moonglade training to be a druid, Bullan’s parents and his younger sister made a journey to Freewind Post in Thousand Needles to visit family who had relocated to that isolated post. Upon the Gold Road, south of Camp Taurajo, they were slaughtered by Alliance outrunners. Upon learning the news, Bullan enlisted in the Horde army and quickly rose through the ranks, earning distinguished service awards in battles at Warsong Hold, Arathi Basin, Alterac Valley, and Wintergrasp.
Just before the Great Shattering and the emergence of Deathwing, the Alliance Expeditionary Force out of Northwatch Hold, along with their Centaur allies, raided Bloodhoof Village. Tarbhdonn, upon hearing of the raid, left his hunting and returned to Mulgore, where he learned that his mother and his betrothed, Jyn Stonehoof, had been killed by the raiders. Tarbhdonn sought out Bullan, who was in Orgrimmar preparing for the Cenarian Expedition to Mount Hyjal, and recruited his childhood friend to help him form a group, handpicked by themselves, to exact retribution upon the Centaurs and the Alliance. Tarbhdonn had only one requirement of any member of the company; all had to have lost friends or members of their family at the hands of the Alliance, and swear a blood oath to avenge those losses. Thus, Ná Clan Cáilte, was born.
Just before his death, Cairne Bloodhoof commissioned Ná Clan Cáilte to protect and defend Mulgore, Thunder Bluff, and the Horde from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Taking the dearly departed High Chieftain’s order most seriously, Ná Clan Cáilte now patrols the continents of Azeroth, fighting for the glory and honor of their ancestors and lost beloved ones.
